Evolution Padel privacy
A plain-English summary of what this pre-launch site collects, why it is collected, and how it is used.
This notice explains how Evolution Padel handles personal information on this website while the venue is still in its pre-launch phase. The goal is to stay clear and practical: we only describe the data flows that exist on the site today.
Who we are
Evolution Padel is a planned indoor padel venue for Renfrew and greater Glasgow. If you have a privacy question about this site, you can contact the team at admin@evolutionpadel.uk.
What we collect
- Information you choose to send through the contact form.
- Email addresses and consent choices you submit through the launch-update form.
- Basic attribution information connected to site visits, such as the page you landed on, your referrer, and any UTM campaign tags present in the URL.
- Any information you choose to include when contacting the team through your own email app.
- Limited technical information needed for site delivery, spam protection, optional embedded services, Google Analytics 4, and Vercel Web Analytics.
How the current forms work
The contact form sends your name, email address, message, and basic visit context to the Evolution Padel team through a Vercel serverless endpoint and Resend email delivery. The team receives the enquiry at the shared inbox and can reply to the email address you provide.
The launch-update form sends your email address, consent choice, and basic visit context through a Vercel serverless endpoint. Resend is used for the current capture and notification flow. The team plans to move marketing-list management to Mailchimp once the account and audience setup are confirmed.
If you contact the team directly by email instead of using a form, your own email provider will also process the contents of that message.
How we use personal information
- To respond to launch, booking, coaching, or venue enquiries you send.
- To send launch, Playtomic booking, coaching, and venue updates where you have asked to receive them.
- To understand which pages, campaigns, and booking-intent actions are driving interest in the venue.
- To respond to questions, venue enquiries, or coaching interest.
- To protect the site and forms from spam or misuse.
Why we use it
Where you contact the team directly, the basis is usually taking steps at your request or our legitimate interest in responding and running the site responsibly.
Who we share it with
We may use website hosting, analytics, email delivery, inbox, mailing-list, and optional embedded-service providers to run the site and process messages. Vercel provides the site hosting and basic Web Analytics. Resend currently handles form email delivery and launch-update capture. Mailchimp may be used for marketing-list management once connected. Google Analytics 4 is used to understand site usage and campaign performance. Google Maps is not loaded automatically unless you have previously chosen to open a map panel, in which case that preference is remembered in local browser storage. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information only for as long as it is useful for follow-up, record-keeping, or legal and operational reasons. If the launch setup changes, this notice will be updated to reflect that.
Your choices
- You can ask what personal information we hold about you.
- You can ask us to correct or delete information where appropriate.
- You can ask to be removed from launch-update emails.
- You can choose not to submit the contact form and email the team directly instead.
- You can avoid loading Google Maps by using the location copy or directions link without opening the embedded map, or reset the remembered map choice by clearing site data in your browser.
Changes to this notice
As the site adds booking integrations, social profiles, or other services, this page will be updated so it stays aligned with the real implementation.
